My grandpa died my freshman year in high school. It was 1996.
One of the greatest things my grandpa ever told me was to invest in people and you will die a rich man. It doesn’t matter how much money you have in your pocket. It doesn’t matter how many houses you have. The size of the land you own. The amount of cows that are in your barn.
He was a farmer.
He told me, “If you invest in people when you create relationships, you’ll die a rich man.”
When my grandpa passed away, I still remember to this day walking out of the funeral home and seeing a line going four blocks down our town for people to come to see my grandpa. They kept coming and coming and coming to say goodbye to a man that had touched their lives, not monetarily, but because he wanted to secretly know every person he got in touch with. He made an impact on their lives.
That’s why I invest in people and that’s why I invest in every doc that wants to be the best for themselves and for their patients. So invest in people and you will die a rich person. Make an impact.
I’m Dr. Skip for the Prime Pediatric Program, and I want to invest in you so you can be the best version of yourself.
